Directly following the Dermaroller procedure the skin naturally starts to regenerate itself from below the surface in the dermis. It takes time for new collagen to form but new skin cells are generated and the blood supply is enhanced almost instantly.
How many treatments do I need?
Although most clients report looking fresher and rested after a few days following treatment, it can take up to 6 weeks before visible signs of regeneration and repair are seen. The process will continue over the following months, providing you with a natural and long lasting enhancement. Your practitioner will normally recommend a series of 3 – 4 treatments with approximately 6 weeks between them. In treatment of acne scars and other types of scarring it may be possible you may need to extend your treatment protocol.

What should I expect after treatment?
Immediately after your Dermaroller Therapy procedure you will look as though you have mild to moderate sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. This will subside after 3 - 4 hours with only slight redness the next day.
Your practitioner will apply Chiroxy Cream immediately after the procedure and you should continue to use this cream until the redness has cleared. SPF50 is advised immediately after the procedure and should be continued throughout your treatment course. It is recommended that makeup should not be applied for 12 hours after the procedure and tepid water should be used to cleanse the face for the 48 hours following the procedure.
